8th Class: How Trauma Impacts Your Skin & Hair Health
A Class by Karen Robinson (MSW, ACSW, LCSW, CCTP-II)
About Class
🕒 1 hour – Skin & Hair Healing Session
In this eighth session, we turn our attention to your body’s outermost layer—your skin and hair. These are not just physical features; they’re often mirrors of your inner world. After trauma, some people notice changes like dullness, sensitivity, breakouts, hair loss, or an overall feeling of not feeling “at home” in their skin.
This class invites you to gently reconnect with your body’s surface—offering care, attention, and healing from the outside in.
We’ll explore:
🧴 How trauma and stress can affect skin and hair health
🧴 The skin’s role as a boundary and protector
🧴 Gentle practices to soothe irritation, dryness, and sensitivity
🧴 The connection between emotional healing and physical glow
đź’› Join us and give yourself permission to prioritize yourself. Your skin and hair deserve nourishment, compassion, and the chance to radiate from the healing happening within.
